RULES OF ADMISSION
Application for admission duly filled should reach the Principal on or before the specified date.
No application will be considered unless accompanied by copy of the statement of marks obtained at the last examination.
Only copies of the certificates should be attached and the Originals should be produced at the time of admission.
Migration Certificate should be submitted in the case of students coming from other than Karnataka from the P.U. Department.
Candidates selected for admission should pay the prescribed fees and produce the originals of the Transfer Certificate, the statement of marks on or before the dates notified and should meet the Principal to get themselves admitted.
Two self photographs and three self addressed Rs. 5 /- Postal Envelops.
Fees paid on admission will on no account be refunded.
Students from other States seeking admission to P.U. must produce eligibility certificate issued by the Pre-University Department.
Names of the students selected for admission will be announced on the Notice Board and the Principal reserves the right of admission.
All admissions are provisional and are subject to the approval of the Pre-University Education Department of Discipline.
There shall be an Annual Class Examination at the end of first year Pre-University course, in addition to this two quarterly tests and Mid-term Examination. These tests and examinations shall be conducted by the college and the records must be maintained intact for three years. Grades awarded shall find a place in the consolidated marks register and individual marks cards.
Admission to I P.U.C. examination shall be open to candidates who have:
1. Undergone the prescribed course of study in the corresponding year in a recognized institution.
2. Put in the minimum attendance prescribed
3. Completed the practical assignments for internal assessment and obtained a certificate to the effect from the subject lecturers concerned.
Course of the Study: The course of the study leading to Two year Pre-University Examination shall comprise of Part I and Part II
The candidate shall select under Part-I of the following, languages one of which should be an Indian language:
Part - I
1) Kannada 2) English
3) Hindi 4) Sanskrit
Part-II Science:
1. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology
2. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Electronics
3. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science
Commerce:
1. History, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy.
2. Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy.
3. Statistics, Economics, Business Studies & Accountancy.
